          Oil leakage prevention technology for hydraulic presses

          I. Analysis of oil leakage causes in hydraulic presses

          1. The quality of the pipeline is not up to standard

          For rigid oil pipes, poor quality is mainly manifested in uneven thickness of the pipe wall, which reduces the load-bearing capacity of the pipe. For hoses, poor quality is mainly manifested in poor rubber quality, insufficient tensile strength of the steel wire layer, uneven braiding, and insufficient load-bearing capacity. Therefore, under the strong impact of pressure oil, it is easy to cause pipeline damage and thus lead to oil leakage.

          2. The pipeline installation does not meet the requirements, with issues such as poorly bent pipelines, improper installation and fixation of pipelines, damaged or aged hydraulic pipelines.

          II. Technical methods for preventing oil leakage in hydraulic presses

          1. Strictly control the quality of pipelines and prohibit the use of unqualified pipelines

          2.1 Proper assembly of hose piping

          During the installation of hoses, when tightening the threads, it is important to ensure that the hose is not twisted. A colored line can be drawn on the hose for observation. During the straight installation of hoses, a length allowance of about 30% should be left to accommodate the needs of oil temperature tension and vibration. At the bent part of the hose, the bending radius is required to be greater than 9 times the outer diameter of the hose, and the distance from the bend to the hose connector should be less than or equal to 6 times the outer diameter of the hose. Additionally, for rubber hoses, it is best not to use them in high-temperature or corrosive environments. If there are many system hoses, pipe clamps should be installed separately for fixation or rubber hoses should be used for isolation.

          2.2 Proper installation of rigid piping

          For the installation of rigid piping, it is important to ensure that it is horizontal and vertical, with as few turns as possible. Crossing should also be avoided, and the radius at turns should be greater than 3-5 times the outer radius of the pipe. For long pipelines, standard pipes should be used for fixation to prevent vibration and collision. At the same time, the distance between pipe clamps should also comply with regulations. For pipelines with significant vibration, shock pads should be installed at the pipe clamps. When installing the pipeline and connecting it to machinery parts, the connectors of auxiliary components should be fixed first, and then the pipeline should be fixed to prevent twisting. Forced installation is also not allowed.

          2.3 Reduce the impact of thermal effects and ensure effective insulation and cooling

          For pipelines with significant changes in hydraulic equipment oil temperature and ambient temperature, when installing the pipeline, consideration should be given to thermal expansion compensation to reduce the impact of thermal effects on the pipeline. For rubber pipes in high-temperature areas, heat insulation and cooling measures should be taken to ensure the safe operation of the pipeline and prolong its service life. At the same time, to meet the performance requirements of the system, consideration should be given to installing suitable accumulators or vibration dampers in places where hydraulic shock is prone to occur. By using hydraulic components with buffer devices, the pulsating hydraulic pressure can be reduced to prevent hydraulic shock.
