          The hazards of salt spray corrosion



          If the hydraulic system is corroded by salt spray, it can cause the following major hazards:

          (1) The structural strength of the structural components weakens. Once the structural components of the hydraulic system are corroded by salt spray, their strength will be affected. If the clamps and screws that secure the hydraulic pipelines are corroded, the installation of the pipelines will become loose.

          When the hydraulic system is working, the vibration of the pipeline under pressure impact can cause the joints and other connecting parts to loosen, leading to common oil leakage and abnormal noise in the hydraulic system. In severe cases, the intensification of vibration may also lead to pipeline damage, making the hydraulic system unable to function properly.

          (2) Causing hydraulic components to become stuck. Hydraulic system components are corroded by salt spray, resulting in the formation of rust, coating peeling particles, and other residual substances. Excess material entering the hydraulic working medium can block the clearance between the relative moving parts of the valve components and other throttling holes, causing the valve components to become stuck and unable to operate normally. If the corrosion is severe, it will cause the entire hydraulic system to be in a paralyzed state.
